XMP-Entrepreneur in Europe (Paris-France).

XMP-Entrepreneur is an association of alumni from some of the most prominent French scientific universities:
· X for Ecole Polytechnique, a scientific school/university (known as "Grandes Ecoles")that has produced a significant percentage of major scientific discoveries during the past two centuries,
· M for "Mines" a group of a high level engineering universities reputed in many areas including everything related to materials,
· P for "Ponts", another old such engineering school/university famous in several scientific and engineering fields.
An important percentage of current French decision makers and top scientists come from these universities due to the way France selects its so-called "elite".

XMP-Entrepreneur has been created to gather and help all those alumni or even still students willing to develop their own venture. Furthermore, XMP-Entrepreneur will foster the "Entrepreneurial spirit" among the students of these universities.

XMP-Entrepreneur also manages a database of French companies that members may invest in or buy.

XMP-Entrepreneur in North America

XMP-Entrepreneur has recently created XMP-Entrepreneur-NA for "North America", which aims at representing the association in North America and develop contacts with the alumni in this area.

Because of their education, many of these alumni's ventures are in the high-tech, Internet or bio-tech fields.

XMP-Entrepreneur-NA represents XMP-Entrepreneur for North America, gathers North American alumni interested in this question and helps compare North American and European small businesses.
It is also an entry point for Entrepreneurs considering going to North America.
